You should pass all decisions in the design process through this filter to determine if a design idea will positively distill and enhance your direction and purpose or negatively, begin to dissipate the focus and energy of your overall idea by pulling it in a different direction. Create a light design illustrating and representing your parti. This design can be a stained glass window design if appropriate, or a wall sconce type light fixture that might appear somewhere in your design. Your design should be created using wood, white mylar, and metal - no color unless in a stained glass window design. Light design should be mounted on a black board as it might be mounted on a wall, i.e. with a space(s) between or flush as appropriate. Creating a hole in the back for light to shine through your design. Your design should be no more than 15" in any dimension. (No specific scale is required.) Include your name, the name of your country, a parti diagram, title and statement on a separate but adjacent label which fits with your overall presentation of your light design. |
