JOY SHAW COLOR STUDY Take one shape to reflect, translate, and rotate to create patterns. Color was then added to the different patterns. LIGHT DESIGN The assignment was to design a functional light fixture that fit our design theory. My theory was Universal Design. CHAIR DESIGN My chair was designed to be used universally. The adjustable arm was built to accommodate wheelchair users and varying body size. DESIGN SHRINE My assignment was to create a shrine (cabin) for universal design. The cabin was set in a botanical garden with a limitation of 120 sq. ft. footprint. THEORY PRESENTATION Universal Design is the topic I choose to research and present both orally and graphically to the class.
